MISTY MOSQUE

This is a composition around the Masjid Ittihadul Islam mosque in the village of Sembalun in the shadow of Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia. While the Hindu island of Bali has an ‘anything goes’ vibe, Lombok has a slightly different character. A largely Muslim island, tourists seem to visit Lombok for the peace and quiet, the sublime beaches and the world-class hikes on the ever-present.
